Then comes the bad news...

Ok, You may think I have a lot of problems with love. Truth is, I do. And this ones far the worst.

Just as me amd my girlfriend get serious and ****, I hear her mate say 'Aww no stacey you cant move and leave me' And im lust like what?. Stacey [Girlfriend] tells me shes leaving Blackpool [Where i live]. What a way to drop the bomb. Im just like. I cant say anything, Im gutted. Then she walks away and a few seconds later her mate [Lauren] comes up to me and says:

Adam, Stacey said that she loves you so much and when she moves she doesnt want to end it.

so im thinking, But how are we gonna stay together if shes not in the same town anymore. Then I started thinking, No, If I love her, It wont matter about that. Obviously I love her so ******* much.

And now, Just then, Its hit me. When she leaves, Ill probably never see her again. The time I wave her goodbye is the last.

You might laugh at this, And go ahead, But when i picture leaving, And picture her face, I have to hold back the tears, Even though she hasnt left yet.

Imma find out when shes going tomorrow.

But for the moment, I feel so upset. Just picturing her, Makes me try and hold back a waterfall of tears, Thats how much I love her.

Im so confused. Could somebody please help me on what to do to try and get over this?

Aww... I'm not laughing at all!! You really do genuinely love your girlfriend and it's a shame that she's moving away but it's really not your fault. She's offered to give you a chance to try a 'long distance' relationship and I'm not saying they all work but you clearly love her so yours might! Don't imagine seeing her waving goodbye for the last time... picture something happier (visit occasionally. Give you something to look forward to?) and keep the relationship strong!

It depends on if you can see the long distance relationship working.
If you can then go for it and I wish you all the best!
If you can't then I say talk to her and see what's best.
If you're unsure I say talk to her and give it a go and just see from there.

It may or may not work depending on how much effort both of you put in. If you both love each other that much no matter how far away you both live from each other it will work. You can still see each other now and again as well so one goodbye is never going to be the last.

The best way is to keep in touch no matter what really.
and over time you may grow apart, but it hurts alot less then just saying bye one day and never seeing her again.

I hate long distance, I'm too tempted to cheat.

Ill try and stay with her, But not seeing her is going to be really hard. And if it does not work out, Well i dont want to think of that.

Im not bothering yet, As she isnt leaving till the end of the school year, But that doesnt seem long away. Iv been thinking about it, And until she leaves, I should enjoy the time i have with her at the minute. Shes ungrounded on Saturday.

She really does not know how i feel about her. Because I dont talk to her much, I think I do but its her opinion, She thinks that i dont like her, Even though i love her to bits. And i really dont know how to show it.

Im one of them boys that get shy around her tbh, And thats why i dont talk to her much.

But, Since shes leaving, Ill have to talk to her alot and make up for everything. But i need to know how to prove to her I i love her. Could somebody give me an idea of How i could prove to her i love her to bits? And no **** like, **** her or anything, Im actually serious here.

and write a romantic poem,
show her how you really feel
and try to keep in touch & visit

Here mate, my girlfriend lives in northampton. I live in plymouth I make that 250 odd miles away (About 3 hours) on saturday we will be together for 6 months :) I see her quite a bit but as iRhiz said, phone - computer, all you need to get you started :)

but you should deffinately give it a try with her.

if you genuinely love her, which you obviously do, it will work and you will find someway around it, maybe send her a letter every day/week to let her know you still care,
