Thanks.
usually just 5 grades A*-C
including maths/english/science/ict or something like that
to progress onto as levels
not hard tbh.
5 C's at mine, some are different though.
yep 5 c's according to my college. but there are some people in 6th form who got less than 5 c's and they were accepted.
varies from college to college and if its in high demand then they go up
at mine its 2 B's 3 C's minimum
Are C's easy? as im doing
B studies
Resistant materials
ICT FULL COURSE
Sociology
yeh if you work reasonably hard and revise. make sure you get good marks in your coursework
the equivalent of 5 B s (asif that is filtered...)
it's on this point scheme where like all the grades are worth a certain amount of points
and so once youve got enough to reach the same amount of points as 5 ** would get you youre in.
at the top college here you need 5 a's :(
Mine was 5 Cs but now it's 5 B's, if you don't get Maths or English then they usually make you retake them
depends what school you are going for
private schools want loads of A*s
but most school just accept 5 passes
Loads of people come from different schools and don't know anybody and you don't get put in classes with people you know either. Did you go to that west bridgford comp or something?
at my school its 5 A*-C's with a B in any subject you want to take, unless its a new one like Pysch or Politics
i got 2B's and 5Cs and i got in fine lol
I think it's 5 A-Cs but i haven't a clue tbh.
Doesn't matter, it varies according to subject and if you get in without the associated grades, they'll put you into GCSE English or whatever GCSE you failed at.
That's what mine did at least :S
Was 5c's at mine but too many people can get that so its been changed to i think
you need two B's now rest c's.
At my 6th form it's 8 A*-C's with 5 A*-B's in the three sciences, Maths and English :(
Also, A* or A in the chosen A level subjects :P
But it's probably a lot easier into other 6th form/colleges (Y)
7 A* - C Grades
Including:
a must have C or higher in :
English
Maths
Science
But because im doing Law I need a B in English
Im doing Art to so a B in art as well
XX
Was 5 C's at mine which was relatively easy for me considering I had a A* and a B before I was even in Year 11...
At the college am going to go to its 6 A*-C for 4-Alevels and because doing Accounting and Maths you need a grade B at maths GCSE or A-A* for further maths
5 A*-C at my Sixth Form. They only let ONE person in who didn't get that. That person actualy burnt down the Sixth Form when we was in Year 10, and was apparently 'traumatised' by it, so allowed in.
it depends whether its a grammar or not though
the grammar beside my school is 16 points to get back in, which is mostly A's
I want to do Human Biology but apparently it needs a minimum of a B in Eng. Language to do. And I've been put on Foundation for English...
What the hell? Biology only needs a C, so I don't see why it's different for the human side.
Law, prefers to have a B at Eng. Language.
5 A*-C grades needed.
Bit weird considering it's a college in the Top 5 of the country, lol. :P
Usually 5 A*-C and C's in English & Maths.
Some sixth forms have specific requirements eg 5 A*-B's or the best sometimes even require 5 a-a*.
B's aren't always required in the subjects that you want to continue on at A-Level, however it's probably reccomened.
