Cancer

i know it'll sound stupid getting so upset over a rat but ive had her since she was 12 weeks old and yesturday i found a lump near her frount leg. its NOT a small lump. its massive. i dont have time to get you a picture but i THINK its cancer :(.
my dad said it might just be a cyst. it doesnt seem to be bothering her at all. shes still running around just with a massive thing hanging down.

Get her checked out at a vets

we're going today. just need to get an appointment

Well that's all you can do really, hopefully it won't be anything bad

Thing is though, if it is cancer, i dont want her having all these weird treatments. i used to have another rat like 2 years ago and she had a brain tumour (just my luck to get rats with brain tumours, having strokes and cancer, eh?) and i chose to get her the treatment, it seemed as though it blinded her and she couldnt walk. she died in like 12 hours of having the treatment.
if she does have cancer, ill probably get her some rat pain killers then bring her home :(

It doesn't sound like cancer if its a pretty big size like over night. Whatever happens good luck at the vets.

Well there are 2 choises if it is Treatment or you know what

i've got an appointment at 2:10 i think.
they might just say take her home until she dies tho?
im not having injections put into her and medicine that might not work.

Well Treatment Which "May" cure it Take her home and let her die in her hutch or injection

i get so worried when she goes to sleep because i dont know if she'll wake up or not :(

No point going to the vets for a Rat. Rodents are so cheap to buy :) - Anyway good luck with it!

went to the vets.
she said its a growth in a memor (or something like that) gland. which the the breast gland. she said its most likely cancer and it can go 2 ways (which i frgot the names of).
either it can stay as it is and just be a lump and she'll be fine. OR it can spread and become uncomptable.

i cant spell.

Just go to the sewers and pick up a new one.

I had a hamster when I was 10, and he had a MASSIVE lump on his cheek, and he was fine! x]
He escaped from his cage, and we found him in the kitchen eating the dogs leftovers! x]
