As far as im aware if its the same as all laser pens.

afaik they're not illegal to import.. I once got an 8mw (i think) laser from eBay, it was great, very powerful. I think they're actually illegal, just don't get caught with one.. I don't think there's a heavy punishment, they'll probably just take it off you and maybe fine you a bit.

I'm not sure about the legality of these anymore, i remember when i was in primary school there was a huge fuss about them on the news, this was like 8 years ago now though. As far as i'm aware they are not illegal. I happen to have a 100Mw green laser pointer :D

It is probably not illegal. I've only see red not greens.
Nobody realy seems to know if they are illegal but I think it depends on how you use it. for example if you go around shining it in peoples eyes or hitting people with it then chances are the police will come and take it off you.
However if your just going to play with it in the dark then who's going to know?
A few things:
Its not illegal to import or use them. It would be illegal to use it with intent to harm someone.. so don't do that :p
Do not buy it from Ebay.. use one of the laserpen websites like Dragon lasers. If you want me to go into an explanation just ask.

Well mine is 100mW and cost me about £80. You want to buy one that looks like its been well made and woint break as soon as you start using it. I'm not 100% but that looks like its made from a cheap metal or maybee plastic?
