i put two sets in two controllers. As soon as one runs out i hit the other one up. I then replace them immediately when i'm done :)

Meh, it's not too annoying. The Wii pauses the game after a small warning at the bottom of the showing a red flashing battery. Bit annoying when you don't want to stop though :P
mine always seems to disconnect midfight on halo xbl..
Only annoying if your online.
I just got 6 rechargable batteries and a charger so I just alternate.
This is why I have a Battery Charge Pack and a Plug and Play kit :)
