well i blatently didnt ask to be on the list for a start. i dont even know who the owner is, or have him on my friends list. and i didnt do a thread like this to get nominated, so even if i am giving out rep for votes now, im still 1/5 to win. and not that many people would have visited the site and voted if the nominee's didnt inform people. :D

No-one who is on the shortlists asked to be on the list - these lists were drawn up purely from preliminary public voting over the last month.

The only reason some people were removed from a shortlist is because they were already on two others and we'd decided to set a limit of two per Habbo.
