What would YOU prefer the ione Gifts (Throne, Russian Samovar, Holoboy) To be classed as?

Normal Rare

I dont care but if anytrhing they should be normal rares as they have been released to the catalogue. habbo say its a mistake just to stop all the protests but infact they did/do it to meet their sales targets so far from a mistake.

There are literally thousands upon thousands of these items on the hotel, so for me that makes them normal rares.

Most will vote super hoping to get their furni to go up.

Well, Normal rares until i get one, then SUPER RARES :) lolz

many accs have been deleted since they were distrubuted so like i would class as ultra

I can assure you there at least 100 times the amount that ione gave now on the hotel probably 1000 times.

Thats not what makes a Super rare according to habbox's Definition

Not at all. There have probably been about three-five thousand more of each been given out (except the Samover because HelKat gave loads out when she left). There are about 60'000 thrones on the hotel although at least half will have gone out of circulation due to people being banned/leaving habbo and some were never claimed when ione originally gave the presents out.

If we are getting technical, all three are super rares since they have never been released into the catalogue on purpose.

I think the throne should be a normal rare because it is given out as prizes! Also i think samova and holo boy should be misc rare!

No they haven't. None of them have appeared in the catalogue on purpose. If that's how you feel, the majority of the supers need adding to normals because they were released along with the throne, samover and holopad back in 2004 by accident.

Whilst that is all true, in this thread we aren't discussing our personal opinions, we are discussing whether Habbox will make the change it's so desperately due.

They have been released on purpose to meet sales targets and then its said it was accidental to stop the uproar from ppl crying over the value decreasing. The scripters used to make thrones, dinos and anything else at what stage and they never got deleted. we got 1 gift and it was one of the 3 mentioned and i think you had to have visited the hotel 2 weeks or less before they were given out to get one.
when the hackers took our accounts using staff acounts we all got a refund and habbo gave us all 100 thrones extra to keep us happy to make up for the mess up.

I think throne should be normal rare anyway coz i just remembered didnt it get accidently realeased?

So that should mean it way released for a short time so its litually a normal rare?

Such a lovely thread you created here Mike, I personally class them as normals because I use Habbox Rare Values as my guide ;).

Well unless you can prove that the release was on purpose it's still a super rare. ione gave out 150'000 presents (approximately) of which about half were opened so that's about 25'000 thrones. A lot of people with those thrones will have left so I still think there are about 30-35'000 in circulation.

As I've just said, most of the old school super rares were released back in 2004 accidently because of Callie making a mistake when adding a new section to the catalogue. If that's what you think, they all need adding to normals too.

It's all related to Dan in my opinion, back when he was the rare values manager and he campaigned for the three to be moved to Supers. 8freak8 and Sierk fired him for it and said he'd been 'fixing values'.

As for the question, it seems I mis-read it so I apologise. :)

no i know that habbox rare values are based on demand and prices payed for them therefore classing them as supers or at least extremely good normal rares

Incorrect. A super rare is classed so because it's never been purposely released into the catalogue. It has nothing to do with demand.

I would add anything that has been in the catalogue to normal rares yes.
I can tell you on 1 occasion I was told a day in advance that thrones would be in the catalogue by a staff member and all of a sudden theres a big mistake and there they are for sale lol i was very shocked at it even though i had advnced warning.

Callie was hotel manager and they have sales targets to meet and i would presume bonuses for going over your target :o whoooooops ive added supers/thrones etc and the profits have rocketed and ive also got a good bonus :eusa_danc

I have no proof of this and without permission I would never drop anybody in it but I am just telling you why I would make them normal rares if i had to but i dont use habbo so dont care about them or their value.

When it comes down to it habbo has gone from a fun place to a place filled with greed and habbo has gone from a good company to what that has gone way ott with all these rares. its gone from profit making to demanding maximum profit whatever way it can.

Mistake rares are super rares, we have to take Sulake's word for it.

I put they should be a normal rare as thats what i've always known them as.

This thread will probably be closed as it looks bad for Habbox, just like mine was closed back in March 2007. Hopefully, although it's unlikely due to managements' ignorance, the ione Gifts will be moved into supers where they belong.

It shouldn't be moved/closed unless people who are looking for arguements get their wish.

What's wrong with a debate/discussion? & my thread wasn't closed because of that, it was closed to silence everyone.

Can you please point out to me where I said there was anything wrong with a debate or discussion. I said about an arguement, you need to be able to differentiate between the two or stop throwing false accusations around.
