Just wondering, if your aged 16-18 do your parents/parent make you pay rent/board money.
This is if your working, maybe going to school.
Just wanna get a rough idea on how many teens that age do actually pay.
Thanks.

I have to start paying rent when im 17. x]
well im 18 and i have lived on my own since i was 16. i pay 200 pounds a month rent. but the council pay for me.
Um no, that's child abuse.
I do not pay rent, but my brother pays rent, he is 19 and pays $50 a week which is just under 25 pounds a week... expensive!
I didnt pay rent when I lived with my parents, now they just pay my mortgage :D
So really its the other way round so some extent
£40 a week wich i think is more then fair but i give more to help out
no as i dont intend or need to.
I don't pay rent aslong as I'm still attending collage.
I'm 16 and don't pay rent, but if i dont get into college then i have to start.
XX
well i'm going to live with my auntie on may 1st and i'm paying 300pcm lol
£25 is bloody cheap.
not paying atm, but mite have to pay when im working full time. see what happens !!
When I get a full-time job I have to start paying, however I plan to be long gone from home by the time I get a full-time job.
I'm 17, in Sixth Form College with a part-time job, and I don't pay rent. My parents say that as long as I live with them, I live free.
My sister doesn't who's 18. Because the governent pay child benefit aslong as they're in school :)
Nah, I don't.
Im 18 and live with my auntie. When i was working i paied £40 a week but cos i bin ill recently and not been working i havnt been paying but im starting a new job end of the month hopefully and il start paying again :)
I choose to pay rent, her and my uncle dont push me for it. Shes naughty, usually when i pay rent shel then buy me a new pair of jeans or shoes or something. Lol! I buy my own food mostly (snacks and drinks and shiz, she usually cooks me a meal)
Think i got it pretty easy now!
It depends if I carry on going to sixth form and college.
If I do carry on I don't have to pay.
If I don't carry on and get a job I have to pay something like 1/3 and that goes to food/water/rent etc.
The rest of the money would then go on whatever I want.
I'm carrying on with school though so whatever money I get is just for me. :D
Well I probably wouldn't have to pay unless I was working full time but if I went into full time work then I would just move out. When I go uni in sept I will be paying around £600 a month for my accommodation.
