Unless Rockstar have an agreement with every retailer in the world to keep the game until the official release date then a court case wont be following

Uh, they don't have to..? The shops aren't allowed to sell the game until the specified release date...

Game can send it out early , they guarentee us it iwll be here on the 29th. They send it with enough time so if it gets slowed down it still should arrive.

They can't do anything unless there is a proper agreement, obviously if it's released like a week early then some action could be taken but a few days early doesn't matter, games are released early all the time so GTA will be no different, if it was released early dispite a real agreement saying no early releases then a court case will follow but unless that happens then they can't really do much

Theres a shop near me which always releases new anticipated titles a day early.

I got FIFA 07 3 days early, FIFA 08 a day early, and i've already asked them whether they will give it a day early, they said maybe, but most probably yes.

Possibly Play. Although Amazon can be really good at releasing games and stuff. My PS2 came a month before everyone elses in my school, which made this fat, snobbish twit in my class amazingly jealous :P
