But they would of got loads more film time if they,
Made him live untill the end he goes gives the army the cure get prased starts a new life, More that 30 mins there
There's an alternative ending where he lives I think, I preferred the film as it is though. I watched it on an I-MAX screen and it was amazing.
ahh yeah, great film, but i think he should have died, its just right. :P
Overrated film. It was utterly terrible, had so much pointlessness and failed to properly develop. I Am Omega with Heston is far superior to this mass of cinematic pulp.
I watched it with mates (and alternate ending) and I liked it. Bit random but I liked it.
It was mediocre for me.
The creatures in it, reminded me way too much of iRobot.

he died because in the book he dies, but in the book there is a second group of survivors. they kill him because he goes mental and can't tell the difference between the group and the creatures, so he just kills both.

Started good, then went down hill. It was enjoyable, but not amazing. I was not impressed by the 'zombies' (or whatever you want to call them) at all. They all looked the same and it seemed that the laws of gravity didn't apply to them.

This movie was enjoyable until they introduced new characters. The realization that others had survived really takes away from the mood of the film. The ending was weak as well.
Yeah, the last man on earth feel had something going for it.
I way preffered it then, that's what made it so sad when Sammy died.
This is a great film.. i think it was good how he died because you expect the main person to live in all films and you dont expect them to die so yano :]

Go watch The Omega Man and throw I Am Legend in the bin. Hell, eve The Asylum's I Am Omega is better.
