Habbo could close down if this carries on, think about it, people are desstrying furni worth lot of money, and if they can do it to rooms WITHOUT rights then habbo are in trouble as i can't think of a way they can block this, A word of advice, lock your rooms so it don't happen to you and habbo can maybe do something about it! :)

How are they losing money? It's not as if things are being permenantly deleted, things are set right after the rooms are closed.

lol init, well, as theyv'e said before, how can a team of 200 hobba's and 10 or so staff members help up to 9000+ habbo's at a time, thats around 40 habbo's each! Not to mention how only 5 or 6 Hobbas are on duty at a time and how the staff do need to sort ALOT of other thing's too! The only way Habbo wouldshut down was if there was a massive fire in the sulake offices in London , not that i want there to be. but if you which i bet not many of you have the terms and conditions of Habbo Hotel... It clearly states "3.4 To the full extent permitted by law, the User agrees that Sulake UK Ltd will not be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for any indirect or consequential or exemplary loss, including but not limited to loss of business opportunities, data, goodwill, projects, or profits) howsoever arising and whether in contract, tort or otherwise from the use of, or inability to use, the Website, or any of its contents and materials, or from any action or omission taken as a result of using the Website or any such contents, or any other matter relating to the Service." So basically theyve covered there own a**es. Yet again in this day and age, its all about money, as long as you cant sue em they couldnt care less, and i bet that there has to be around 50-60 new habbos joining each day, so i dont think there going to be bothered if the odd one or two who are scripted leave.

If Habbo close all of a sudden PERMANENTLY without warning and you just gave them alot of money for credits, they've basically stolen your money without warning that the sale is corrupt
Habbo can't LOSE money - they can create credits or give any amount of furni to anyone for FREE! The only way Habbo could LOSE money if no one bought credits adn they still had to pay their staff/server company (and yes habbo don't own their servers - I've seen on the net).
If habbo were considering closure they would probably pull the greatest money scam of all time. Cheaper creds....sales...new furni...etc...to encourage ppl to buy more furni... ...and therefore "up" profits and avoid closure! *ta-daaaaaa*

Secondly, it won't close because of this - and I think this is possibly just a thread to boost up your post count, and it's going to spread a rumour that Habbo will close. Firstly, I'll explain the whole situation.
When you buy furniture, or do anything on habbo - encrypted data (data put into a weird code) is sent to the server, the server then decrypts the data - and you get your furniture, or you move around the room, or you get credits .etc .etc. All these scripters have done - is found out the type of encryption which habbo is using, so they can encrypt data and send it to the server - so that different things happen in habbo.
It's taken them like 2-3 years to find out how to do this, and habbo can EASILY just changed the encryption type. I have heard on a few "krew/scripting" sites that Habbo are actually changing the encryption as we speak.
So yeah, no need to go spreading rumours.

not lose it, they would have had to pay quite a bit of money for it to be advertised
[my mum n dad did for there business] AND they would have to pay extra for the competition that bliss are holding for habbo to win yourself a mobile phone [50 runners up get VIP membership [HC i presume].
So that would cost a bit of money, and people will probably sign up, for the chance to win a mobile, but it doesnt necessarily make people buy a load of credits, so by advertising that they are generally losing money.

EDIT: just read post about terms and conditions, lucky i havent spent any money on habbo. all i can say is that habbo are mean, they no nobody will read terms and conditions so they put that in.
I spent ages waiting in this room for some event once and callie was givin out prizes and guess wat they r, pineapple plants :@
i doubt it will close, but the hotel is getting slightly less enjoyable than when i first started. Maybe its just me getting older :pQuote:
