Halo 4 Confirmed

A fourth installment in the Halo series has been confirmed as a prequel to the events of the original trilogy. I hate all three of the games, so this isn't music to my ears.

I can't actually remember where I found this. I came across it accidently yesterday and was surprised today that it hadn't already been posted. Could be false, I'm not a Halo fan, it sucks.

Halo War's is more of a strategy game which is based in time before the Halo trilogy happened. It's out this Summer and it's not made by the usual Halo designers, Bungie. I think it's going to be a big disappointment and won't even be in a league with the other's Halos :P

He might not be talking about Halo Wars, Bungie have said that Halo 3 is only the last in the trilogy, they have planned more games based in the halo universe so just because Halo wars is the only confirmed halo game it doesn't mean no others are planned xD

It's probably is Halo Wars as it's set before the original games lol

I'd just like to point out the obvious here.

You cant have Halo 4 as a prequel? It would have to be a number lower than 1 such as Halo 0.5..... or Halo: Combat not yet evolved.....

Anyway....

Bungie are already working on a new game that will be in the Halo Universe but not in the same storyline.... so no Masterchief....

Hopefully it wont suck like Halo 3 :)

Apparently Gears of War 2 is a prequel, it has to be because Carmine is still alive apparently
It doesn't have to have a lower number to be a prequel, the number just means that it's a new version of the game based on the same story, it can be at any point of the story, it doesn't have to be the next part just because it has the number 2 or 3 in the name

PREQUEL.

With Star Wars, the series was planned from the start to consist of 6 films, 3 being prequels to the original trilogy.

halo is rubbish! Theres no action! its just full of rubbish and if you noticed GTA IV was announced Halo wars was preduced and it was preduced like 2 months after halo 3,
