The online game, Faketown is closing today! It was one of the first online games ever but sadly it's time has come.

Faketown initially launched six years ago before it was branded a virtual world in 2006.

The staff mentioned it on site about 2 days ago but they have warned users for the last few months that they would need to get ppl to join the site and purchase membership to keep it going.

ages ago, I would use clones to elect myself mayor of a town. Back then you could ban any user with mayor status!
