Yes, you'll get bored of the multiplayer if you don't.

When you get to level 55, you can choose to go back to level 1 and get a different badge.

Yes, you should prestige as you will get called various insults at your current rank and plus it gets boring not ranking up :)
No, the only good badge after 55 is prestige 10 and getting that is long.
Id say yes, its alot more fun if you can keep on leveling rather than just staying at 55 :)
and level 55 prestige 10 is also known as 'the no lifer achievement' - 0G

Yeah I would, it gives you something to aim for cos once your 55 and get all your guns there is nout more to do apart from just have fun really but if you work up your prestiges by time you get to 10th prestige you can get all your guns again :D.
I've did all the challenges though :'[
