I have a Baotian which is £550 brand new its a chinease bike but tested & all the parts are just as good as a british bike unrestricted i get like 47-48 which is alright nothing special tho.
Suzuki Katana was my first one was decent but the engine packed up after about a year (i had it second hand it was about 4 years old). My X8R however is still going and my sister has it now, i would reccomend that if you wanted a reliable one get that.
What do you want? A scooter or somthing else?
I would recondmend a Suzuki TS 50 as thats the bike i have and it does me well, they normally go for around £450 on eBay and then you can spend some money tuning it up.
Yeah I want a scooter.
I just want something I can go buy, get insurance and be off! :P

Just bought a CPI Formula R 50CC for £1199.99
A little expensive I know, but at least it's from a reputable shop and I got a good deal on insurance £249.98 for third party fire and theft with a £150 access, which I thought was a really good deal! :)

My cousin had one of those and it was rubbish - it was really slow and his kickstart fell off after he had it about 4 months, just generally bad. But that might just have been him, he manages to ruin pretty much every bike he used and he has mine atm for his cbt :(

I've done 100 miles today anyway haha, from the shop to my house, then from mine to work and home :)
It'll not be that fast but what matters is that it gets you from A to B :)
Mine done about 68ish and its now in the shed broken :( Cnt be arsed with it im getting a geared bike xD

Managed to get it off the speedo ;)
Mind you.. I was going down a big steep hill for about 1/4 of a mile haha.
It's going well, it struggled to get up to 30 the other day now it's easy doing 35 :)
Petrol is expensive though haha :( - I just need 500 miles so I can go fasterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
