Murray doesn't really get that far now cos of Federer and Nadal.
Oh well. Can't say it wasn't expected really.

Nadal is a different class to Murray. Although I wanted Murray to win you can't deny that Nadal is better, a lot better.
Glad he's out, now the football can have there back pages back in the sun
I hate Murrey, he doesn't smile of ****, not many people like him and many british people actually wanted nadal to win.
Kind of expected it. Nadal is better than Murray, so I didn't think he was going to get through anyway.
He played VERY well this year, hopefully next year his maturatiy and level of game will be that one level up from expereince which may enable him to have a good chance at reaching the final. You must not forgot he is very young still and still has many years to improve and learn and win.
He will be ranked between 6-8th in the world at the end of this and that will be well worth his effort!
Just because Murray declared himself Scottish and not British. Why don't English people declare themselves British? How come Tim Henman was liked more because he was English rather than British. Didn't stop everyone else watching him did it. Just because he's British and not English it's a different story.Quote:

Because if we didn't we'd only have fairly unknown players to support and he plays under Great Britain. If he played under Scotland I wouldn't support him.Quote:

Oh well, as long as we beat the English. So far we have Tennis and Football under our belts. England you need to start getting better players and teams - seems you're beginning to fall behind us when we have less people than London.
Instead of trying to use our players as "British" get your own. Whenever an English person wins a medal at the Olympics or whatever it's for "England". However if it's a Scottish person (most of the time it is) it's then for "Britian". Basically without the Scottish population you'd never hear about Britian in the sports news at all :P
