They could try take legal action but it's highly doubtfull they are going to become aware of it unless they are operatives of MI5 or something.
But i doubt much would become of it if they did find out.

Happened to my brother mates, his mum and dad took his internet, so he went (hacked) onto his neighbours internet connection.
My laptop sometimes auto-connect to neighbours router. Anyway even if they did find out nothing would be done.Quote:

People don't feel the need to, they think people will be decent enough not to use someone else's connection which they don't contribute to or have asked permission for. It's illegal because you're using something for free, which others have paid for.
They can gain access to your info though.
