Is it worth buying an Xbox Pro/Premium for £199.99 with halo 3 and either lost oddsey, ninja geidan2 or blue dragon for free? I'd prefer a PS3 but don't have the money! I just want to know whether its worth getting a 360?:)

After playing on my friends PS3 personally I prefer the 360, as most of the games I want to play are on the 360.

I got mine at Woolworths for £220 with 3 games (Fifa 08, Simpsons game and PGR4) so I would look around for better deals.

@Xvisor, I remember when the PS2 was realeased and someone said the exact same as you about DVD's, i believe blu-ray will become common within the next few years and im pretty sure there won't be a new console by then. Anyway, I plan on looking around town on monday then going for the best option:) Are there any games i should completely avoid?

Buying a PS3 isn't a bad idea, i mean its a cheap blu-ray player ;D! but the 360 to me is more for your money.
Weigh it up yourself, I mean.
If you look at the facts you'll see that the 360 is the more powerful machine however, the PS3's graphics are ever so slightly smoother than the 360. If you're buying it for the blu-ray player, don't bother because blu-ray discs are about £30 and it's not that much of a difference.
My advice is choose yourself because everyone's going to be biased.
He's buying a xbox anyway why are you guys posting why not to buy a PS3?

I dislike many games on the PS3, i perfer the 360 games but it depends what games you enjoy.
Blue-ray is coming to Xbox 360. So Sony fanboys can ****. Even with my own console having blue-ray soon, i will not be forking out £25 quid for a movie, i can get for more than half the price! :D

Wouldn't count on getting ratchet and clank. However its a sacrifice, worthwhile if you ask me.
Blu-ray won't hit anywhere near its potential with this generation of consoles, and the films are overpriced.
