Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin.
She's 44, anti-abortion and anti-gay rights and is currently under investigation by an Ethics committee.
She is pro-oil and opened up a wildlife park for drilling.

Honestly, it's just to get the confused Clinton voters. McCain's whole schtick has been talking about how Obama is so inexperienced, yet he gets Palin, who's surely enough much more inexperienced than Obama. Joe Biden will wipe the floor with her.
I'm glad, she's a great person.. and should let America be the country it should be.
Maybe we can finally get our handguns back, and put them illegal aliens where they should be.
McCain will win, legally or not.

just by reading that she opened up a wildlife park for drilling makes me dislike her
Thing is Hillary and Palin are pretty much opposites of each other in terms of their views, the only thing they have in common is that they are American women. If women vote for McCain strictly because of Palin it shows that they only liked Hillary because of what gender she was, not what she was campaigning about.Quote:

No, you get every last drop, and while we are doing that, we need to find other renewable or alternate sources of fuel.
And that is Natural Gas, which America owns tons of, and are sitting on for free.

It didn't hurt or kill anything, they moved the animals and wildlife to another part of the national park.
It's only about 120 acres used for drilling anyway, out of millions..
Of course oil is going to be burnt, and refined, and that's how we drive our cars.
We get so much from crude oil, that you couldn't live without.. it's not just you car.

Lubricating oils (motor oil, carb oil, etc)

Plastic
Petroleum Coke

Try to live without some of those products, which is all byproducts of crude oil.
I couldn't life without plastic, asphalt/tar, motor oil, heating oil, diesel fuel, kerosene, and gasoline.
If we run out of all that just instantly, in like a day.. the world would be in chaos.
No planes, no cars would run, and if they did.. they have no motor oil to lubricate them, no roads to drive on, no heat in your homes.
Don't just read what someone on Habbox says to make an opinion out of it, Palin rearranged part of the wildlife park, and moved the wildlife to different parts.Quote:

It's a cheap shot to get feminists on board. She claims she is against Oil corruption, yet she is being investigated for abuse of her power (firing a safety person guy for not firing a trooper who divorced a family member), and still many women are pro-choice and hold less conservative views.
You've gotta hope McCain doesn't get elected as it looks like he is a continuation of G W Bush (voted 90%+ with him), refers to countries that don't exist (Czechoslovakia for example).
His only argument I've seen so far is that he is more experienced with foreign policy as he was in the army.

The thing is, because of the GLOBAL MARKET, oil prices won't decrease /THAT/ much because you start drilling out a few hundred thousand barells a day. Emerging countries are eating up new oil very quickly. Oil companies are naturally going to sell to the highest bidder and they don't care wherever it is.Quote:

all i can say is that our hire car in the US barely got 25MPG and it was a fairly respectable looking toyota something. I dread to think what some of those big trucks get.
American car models are decreasing in size to combat the ever-rising fuel prices.

She reformed Alaska's government, giving tons of money back to the people of the state, building a major pipeline through Alaska, and clearing $206 billion in wasted cash.
And Barack has done what?

He hasn't made any laws at all.
And specify some laws that Palin has made that are deemed "stupid".
Barack has done nothing.
McCain will win it, and he is by far the best choice.
