Name thing

When you say put your name here as what you prefered to be called bla bla..

isn't it meant to show in your thingy next to your post? :S cuz mine doesn't :'(

It depends of if people use it or not and if it turns out to be a bit of a waste of space? I suppose it may be worth while to allow users to add what they prefer to be called in their post bit. I believe this is being discussed/implemented currently. :)

If joshuar can code it so its optional then great! i persdonally would prefer name/nickname over location anyway :p

No point saying that since it's already happening lmao, I wasn't suggesting the idea, I was asking why it isn't there since it was said in the announcement, butI didn't read the bit that said "thinking about it" or whatever. You're probably one of those people trying to reject every idea, when if you catch up properly, you'll see that it's already happening.

I'd find it very useful. It's alot easier calling someone by their name on the forum, or just knowing it. It will look good. I would use it, and I don't think it would clog the post-bit up at all.
