Wanting to smooth my car & get a bora front end, but I put that on hold as I'm changing to a 1.8 Turbo GTI, so I'm on the lookout..
Going to have a look at this tomorrow, would have to change the rear lights & exhaust though!

went to have a look today, wasn't very good. exterior was ok but engine bay was proper manky and loads of interior parts were worn/knackered, insurance was 4000 fyi.
i was thinking today, i'm going to upgrade my engine to the spec of a TDI 150 (mine's a 110) by adding a bigger turbo, bigger injectors, remapping etc.
Looked and okay car but if the engine bay wasn't good, I wouldn't go for it. Was it your car which was the gold golf? That's a nice ride, no need to get a new one. :)

yeah if you do all the prep work like removing engine, door cards, interior bits & plastics etc
the front plate will be illegal due to spacing and font size laws, plus it's not reflective
I could put a square numberplate in english font and it'd be legal, but I'm putting a square numberplate in german FE font which isn't.. it is reflective though :P

you need the letters to be the right font size and spacing between them to be correct for them to be legal, and you can't do that with square plates on cars sozQuote:
