How's it gonna go? How's the night going to deal with the drivers?
They get paid enough to deal with it.
Hamilton was quickest in practise 1, and Alonso is 2. But dont count out the Ferrari's and the Bmw's
They've put lights all the way through it. Going to be nearly as light as normal or when it's cloudy.
Surprised people haven't complained about the "waste of energy" used to light the track when it could of been held during the day.
Suppose when you have F1 money you can clear all the costs but still!
Race should be good whatever the outcome.
Shame about the safety car, Hamilton would've probably gone first due to the Ferrari error.
Tbh that was one of the best races of the year imo
yh that race was quite good
Ferrari completely failed though
Good result for Hamilton. If he had passed Dc earlier he may of won it
It was indeed a fantastic race.
Hamilton was doing great in practice. i watched.
and err, singapore has always been bright. its just a little brighter for the past few days
Best race of the year in my opinion.
My friends and I laughed when Massa mucked his pit stop (well the ferrari's lollipop computer thing) and then they was trying their best to take the hose off the car. But sympathy to the pitman who got run over.
Also that marshall who was clearing up the debris before the tunnel was brave.
kk ill shut up i wanted to go :(
I must be the only one that thought the race was crap then.
Awful track, yet another bad Street Racing Circuit, Valencia was slightly worse, as that was just steel walls going round a industrial estate, Singapore looked a nice place seeing as every camera shot was of the place, no over-taking spots hardly and the steel everywhere is eww.
If it wasn't for the safety car it would of been a dreadful race. From a racing perspective it was a poor race, not many over-takes at all and not much good racing really. For entertainment it was one of the better grand prix's but yeah I won't be looking forward to it next year.
There wasn't many overtaking at the beginning because of the "Trulli Train"
Brilliant race, but a poor circuit, way too conservative; better planning is needed, especially with the pit lane entrance! The triple chicane was pretty pointless too :S
So glad Ferrari messed up & it would of been nice to see DC finish 2nd in one of his last races; but the red bull doesn't have the power, not the luck of bad conditions..
They could have improved the circuit alot. I don't see all them bumps in Valencia and Monaco. Still not a fan of street circuits, although, I do quite like Monaco.
Even though I thought the race was good, I agree with the people like above with the track needing improvements. The chicane may be pointless but it's so what they call "traffic calming" so you can't overtake on that narrow bridge. Really it wasn't a chicane because you just easily go in a straight line.
it would be too dangerous for the cars to go that fast over the bridge.
I liked the race, liked the Ferrari pit moment :P
The positioning of the pit lane entery and the exit was wrong. When you exit the pits, as you come out onto the "preferd" racing line, which is pretty dangerous
just the pit lane needs to be altered. it is a conservative track so you can't expect much overtaking. wait for japan - that's high speed.
Ahh too bad I didn't went on the actual day but on the practice run - free tickets on the first row! Very eventful night on the actual day :eusa_whis
