its looks good not to keen on the banner effect
Thanks :) Yeah wasn't too sure on the banner effect, I'll post an updated version with it just white.

Crap... I usually like designs like this with lots of light contrast but somethings you > cannot < see very well, which doesnt make it very user friendly. For example the text which is I think is too light in my opinon I would take the gray of "About" and go half way between light & the current colour to get a nice gray.
Oh & the mac, that just ruins it sorry.
Depends on the lightness of the screen to be honest, if I went any darker with the dummy text it'd become too ugly. Could do with the headings, I'll play around with them :)Quote:

The image shouldn't matter. I guess it's a fill-in image (preview image), so it wouldn't be a empty space.
