If you get EMA have you got yours yet? Because half of our college haven't got them just yet. And when i looked on the website it didn't give me any contact numbers and i sent off for mine in like September, at the beginning.

as far as i know, the people at my school (college) has got their timetables and are getting them filled in. but dont worry because i they arent organised this year then you will get a great big lump sum you lucky ****. :P how many weeks u been in about 5? £15 in your back pocket lol

Ive heard that they are behind on procesing applications at the moment as i havn't received anything yet and have already spoken to the people who deals with it at my college. :)
i havent got mine thru yet :(
but my mate who is in second year has recieved hers...
maybe they just havent got round to your college yet :(

Technical problems with the EMA helpline have meant that some people have had difficulty getting hold of an application form.
So that no-one who is entitled to EMA misses out, the deadline for getting backdated payments has been extended.
This means that as long as you’ve got your application in by the end of October, you won’t miss out on any payments.

There is a backlog on the applications, should be within the next two weeks.
Longer than that.. I sent mine off 3 weeks ago I haven't heard anything back yet. Are we supposed to get those forms signed by our teachers, to show that we came to school, to recieve our backdated EMA money? :S

I've just recieved a letter from EMA saying that they're now processing it, so judging by EMA so far i should recieve my first payment by the time im 90. :)

At the end of every lesson a few people get these yellow forms signed for their EMA. To get my EMA backtracked do I need to have got the yellow forms signed for all the weeks that my EMA has been getting processed?

When you send off for your EMA you put when you started your college course. After 2/3 weeks you will get a NOE received back from the EMA and you take this into college and sign an agreement to say you will have good attendence.Quote:

What a carry on this is. :l My EMA application is being processed right but since it's getting processed I haven't been getting any yellow forms signed by the teachers that Ive had lessons with does that mean my money won't get backtracked?
According to the website it say's all applications will get backtracked
I know, i checked the other day. Im strapped for cash really and I don't think my teachers would sign forms for the last few weeks to prove that I attended all classes. :(
I hope it automatically gets backtracked without any yellow forms needed to be signed :{
