I think you can turn a hellcat purple.. someone said they did.
From the quest you can also get 30k magic experience if you do the extra part (but you need 93 Magic) and the broom can be a free teleport to the Soceress's Garden..
..and I got a purple costume instead of an orange one. :P
If you have a hellcat you want to turn purple you are warned that it will revert to an ordinary cat.

also how did u turn ur clothing purple?!
You can turn your hellcat purple but it will just look like a normal purple cat :) Hope I helped
