What would happen if I unistalled vista. What would i have on my pc?

So if i turned on my pc, and what would happen.
Well vista doesn't have an "uninstall" button so you'd either have a blank HDD or another operating system if you installed it.

You'd have a little blinking cursor, which would then say no active/boot partition and prompt you to restart with some CD or DVD in.Quote:

You dont need to uninstall it, just put your xp disk in and click install over the partition.
EDIT: If you don't have an XP disk you can download one from thepiratebay.com (its legal if you use a valid key on it ;))

From setup? what you mean.
XP set up, the blue screen when you run from the installation CD/DVD.
it lists your partitions so you just delete the vista one and create a new NTFS partition for XP.
Ah, i thought he meant on XP once its loaded insert the disk then press install (as you can do with vista) not reformat/clean install ;)
Yeah, I think it lets you format the disk before you install xp. So you should lose Vista.Quote:
