To be honest it says a lot about your relationship overall if you don't even have the self belief in confidence that it will last.

Don't do typical thoughtless crap ie creams/perfume it's just what people get their girlfriends when they can't be bothered.
Make it something thoughtful, like something you've picked up on that she really likes and that you remembered cos it'll make it extra special. So like her favourite flower/colour/chocolate and work around that as your gift. Doesn't have to be expensive just as long as it means something.
