Anyone been to New York for Christmas?

I've always wanted to go to there for Xmas - I think that Home Alone flim
has made me obsessed of being in New York for Christmas. :P

Anyway, if you have, please share me how it was. :P

yeah, its aight. central park is pretty. its not as peaceful as it looks in movies though. and everything's just as expensive lol. idk, ive never heard that nyc is the place to be for christmas, really. most cities are probably just the same, to be honest.

my good friend is going on the 21st for two weeks,
so she will be there for xmas and new year.
she's gonna get me some souvenirs lol and some pictures yknow.
ive asked my mum to go to new york for xmasbut she said she never fancied america. o.o im like 'wthhhhhhh america is awesome lol' (went with my dad)
never went to nyc though.
anyways, how was it metric?

yeah america's pretty chill. imma be in new york on friday, im seeing a taping of a pilot episode for demetri martin's new show. im so pumped. a bunch of christmas stuff is gonna be everywhere im sure.

I live about a half an hour south of NYC, so I go there every year for Christmas. It's really nice, and looking at all the store windows on 5th Avenue is interesting. There's so many holiday related things to do there, it's pretty much impossible to not get into a Christmas mood.
