Lol, so i'm guessing this version ok, doesn't hog resources as much as the standard, but i bet it's even worse at doing the job of being an anti-virus.
Rofl, it is the slowest and worst anti-virus and my friends don't beleive me becuase 'it came with their pc', which must mean it's good. Rofl.
This was reported on OCN like a week ago :P
LOL! - i might actually get that if its faster then - times iv been killed just by norton before i got rid of it
I wouldn't personally trust Norton again.
nortons just bad.
That Ad is just pathetic!
"and then it just froze... it got all choggy and froze... I forgot to turn off my anti-virus and it just done another sweep"
THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE SCHEDULED SWEEPS FOR YOU IDIOT! LOL
In defence of Norton, NIS 2009 is a damn good piece of software. It has 5 minute definition updates which come in seamlessly with no impact, is now less than a 100mb install and takes up less resources than any other full scanner I have used.
But previous versions sucked.
NOD32 only uses 1MB of Memory and also the install is only 50MB. I don't need to even worry about updates at all as it does them frequently while I'm on the computer and it doesn't even tell me, it just does it and scans my computer constantly.
If you're defending Norton then look elsewhere and be amazed :)
urgh, norton :( is so bad.
Jord dont **, its physically impossible for an anti-virus to use only 1MB ram
I use AVG 8.0
It's free and brilliant.
I actually cant believe norton as a company made that advertisement, if your like that, i wouldn't be worried about your anti virus, id be worried about your mental health.
If your looking for a decent anti virus Kaspersky/NOD32 is the way to go.
If your looking for a free one, avira anti virus
Okay, okay. Lets solve this potential argument:
Use Linux.
Finally, they got the message lol.
LOLL HE'S A RIGHT NERD~!!!
That ad was pretty funny
