I think if it's severe enough an allergy it causes severe rashes in the throat and mouth, resulting in you not being able to breathe.
Either bad rash's or your throat will swell up.
Very Drastic
I saw my friend collapse from an allergy.. Wasnt nuts and he didnt die like but it was scary *Removed*

I used to be allergic to nuts when I was smaller.. You get weird lumps in your mouth and your throat feels tickly and swells abit
If I eat nuts, I die.

When I was small I had to carry an epipen around because I was so seriously allergic to nuts etc If I ate anything with nuts in and didn't have my epipen then I would probably die cos of anaphylactic shock.. it means you have trouble breathing and theres a sudden drop in blood pressure which means you end up choking
Your face all bloats up if its really bad.

The hole in their throat would probably getting smaller making it harder to breathe and well yeah..
My little cousin is allergic to nuts
It's pretty serious tbh it closes up your throat or something and makes it hard for you to breathe
She's got something called an epipen and you basically have to stab it into their thigh if they have an allergic reaction
food allergies were what my panic attacks revolved around they are like my biggest fear
all the throat closing just makes me feel ill ;[
Depends what type of Allergy but most symptons have been said
My moms friend is alergic to alot of fruit, unlucky.
Iv neevr been allergic to anything in my life.
