I've always wondered though, what makes a person right-handed or left-handed? Is it simply because as a child, we picked up a pencil with that particular hand and it becomes our writing and dominant hand for life? :P

I'm both handed, I've forgotten what is my natural hand. I'm presuming it's my right because I get more power behind my right foot. Oh and I just got told left handed people are smarter.
They could be hetrozygous and have the alleles for both but the allele for the right-hand is the dominant one.Quote:
