For those of us who goto the gym, what keeps you motivated?
Some really pumping music keeps me going like the rocky songs. oh and the batista entrance song keeps me going when im doing weights lmao

The fit woman gym instructor I see in very revealing clothes.
I dont get why they always have the TV's in front of the treadmills, you can't really focus on it when your running :S

Depends, they do provide you with alot of simple carbs so really there only good if your not trying too loose fat and gain muscle, but If you have enough energy in your diet forget about them.
Anyway yeah fast pace/loud music as studies have shown that It keeps your heart pumping faster.

What motivates me? The thought that I'm going to get bigger and stronger :P I also have my iPod in usually as there is a lot of girls who go to my gym and they just joke and laugh - I don't really want to hear that when I'm benching 90kg and are on those last 2 reps :P
Techo music is what gets me through usually as it makes me pumped and ready for the day of heavy lifting. I don't know if anybody else does this but when I'm listening to the music and there is a half decent beat, sometimes I rep with the beat? Just helps a bit :P
You'd be surprised how easy treadmill is when you have soft music in your ear and you're closing your eyes. The time just flies by without you even thinking.
If your gym is hardcore like mine.. some will have icebaths. I would recommend these to anybody. Getting into an icebath is as much of a mental strain as it is physical, if you can sit in -5 degree water for 4-5 minutes I will salute you. It's great for your muscels as it makes them crump together and then loosen when they get used to it, effectively this repairs your muscles ready for the next day of training.
I find that energy drinks never ever help. All you need is some water with a few teaspoons of sugar is a massive help.
-5 ice cold water? Surely that's not good for your testicals :P
