Have any Oblivion Tips/Tricks?

Well, i've had the game for a while now.
And i always stuff it up some how.
So, im starting again.

Which is the best race and class in your opinion?
What skill should i train first?
How long did it take you to complete the game? (People say like 6 months. )
Tricks on how to do things, eg Run up a mountain for that Jumping skill.
Which subquests should i do first?

Any/All help is appreciated.

Side note; i put this here because as far as i know it's on PS3,Xbox360,PC.
Also, im on Xbox360

I saw a friend duplicate loads of items before, should use Youtube

i heard that got patched on PC and Xbox.

And how can Duplicating items help me? (Not ment to sound rude)

Bretons look good, does anyone have some pros and cons for them?

Dupe glitch was patched, spoons have no physics so you can use them to get to cool places you're not meant to go.

Make sure you don't level major skills too much without any combats skills or you'll be a bit weak, if you have like heavy and light armour only use one because it's pointless using both since that's two skills to level.
Try stick to one type of weapon aswell, one melee weapon and magic is all you really need.

Yea, everything levels as you do, which is why you shouldn't have combat as a major skill, then you'll be more powerful at lower levels.

Oh ok thanks,
Can i ask what build you went with for Comabt or what you would recommend?

I went mostly melee with swords, heavy armour and archery, destruction magic is generally quite helpful but that's more potions you have to get hold of then, having sneak quite high never hurts either, especially if you decide to go for light armour.

My friend was telling me about that, there was a starway made of spoons that lead you to the best weapon in the game and they didnt even mean to lead you there.

That's probably a mod on the PC version, you can use spoons to make a stairway to the end of the xbox version and get the last achievement in the game without getting the rest. xD

Urm if you want to train the stealth ability or whatever its called just go to a place where people are sleeping rest till about 8pm till people start to go to bed and then go in a corner and go in the mode where you can see the eye in the middle of the thing and use an elastic band or whatever to keep you moving in the direction of the wall, if you actually understand that its an easyway to get stealth upto 99 or whatever - not been on oblivion for ages

and it took me 79 hours to complete the game but that counts freeroaming and such

and whats everyone one going on about things being patched just watch this and it shows how to get rid of updates and such;http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hBb5N0SSyJs not the best video to explain but still
