I think you should transform HxHD into more of a "Habbox lounge" type room. The fact remains that there are very limited Habbo's who go to Help Desk rooms for help since the implementing of the new Guides System. Habbo is a lot more simple and easier to grasp and understand now and you're given a lot more help when you sign up.
I know that HxHD has been with Habbox for ages but I just think that it is time to make it into more a Habbox Chill room.
Yeh theres rarely anyone ever in for help just the same people over and over.

If it turned into chill you wouldn't exactly need 'help desk staff' so that dept would be gone and it would more like room mods who kick peopel breaking rules and such so no staff = alot less people = alot less people wanting recommendations etc so it would die probably, is ee where your coming from :P
Yeah I am actually on Jake's side. However I don't think it should be transformed. Jay has put reccomendations in so then there are less HxHD staff because we don't actually need lots. So maybe just a reduce of Help Desk staff? I think the amount in the department should be the maximum, to be honest.
If HxHD staff began to go then that would mean its even less popular, atm only reason people come is so they don't get fired for inactivity imho.
Maby make the desk area smaller to then and make more seating areas so you can sit in groups and talk.Quote:

There are some problems with this for example, it would make the department void as said above as there won't be a need for staff. To be honest, I don't think it should be changed. It already has changed into a chill area, with a bar to sit at if you need help. If I'm honest I just think the desk needs a good, new layout which still has the bar where you can come to for help, but with less staff. That way the department will still exist, there will be more room for people to chill, and there is still an option to ask questions. There are still people that do come in for help and I've seen it quite frequently. To sum that up, I just think it needs a good new layout :P
if it turned into a lounge we'd have to put up with those <i wont say the word> from hxl and all the listeners.
I dont think it should be shut however the staff need beating becuase i'm in there sometimes and no one is ever there and i mean prime time. Not 6am!

Was going to make a thread the other day but i see jake has made one.
When i was manager and jake was AGM, in near enough every months department report i was told more events more events more events, i was fired near 3 months ago, think i have seen 2 events other than these last few for christmas. How are you promoting the desk?
I donated 200 credits still not seen them used other than when you asked if you could ues them to do the christmas layout, i said no. I dont want my credits being used to buy furni that will be seen for 2 weeks then go.
Not seen much staff in the desk recently, god knows how all they trialist passed but anyway, getting rid of applications how is that a good idea? If you are not getting the people coming in for help why will people come in to the desk to try and get 2 recomendations, recomendations didnt work hence why me and hayley got rid of them.
From what i hear the Tl and SS are taking a more hands on roll in the department although when i was manager i wasnt even allowed to let a TL hold a quiz unless it was really needed. :rolleyes:
What is your ideas and plans for the next few months for HxHD, i hope it involves more events and trying to promote the desk. I sure dont want to see mine & hayleys and other staff befores work juts going away because you cant be bothered to promote the desk.
What i was SS and Jay had just become manager SS and TL did so much (not taking anything away from Jay and Rox they did loads as well) but now it seems they do even more with one SS running the HxHD event everyday Which may i add is a brilliant event. I don't think the applications should be gone but i also don't think there should be as many staff as there is at the moment i don't feel there's any need for an international department. 4 teams of 4 and then SS and TL is fine i think. We had that for the first few months i was there and the desk was as popular as ever.Quote:

I know where you are coming from. When I became Asst Manager in Janruary it was the same thing, we got the desk very popular over the next few months but only as a chillax room. I think the chill room would be a good move. How ever would it mean loosing staff?Quote:

Dunno how many staff there is at the moment half them need to go they are never in the desk and are taking up space for which people who want to work in the desk can have, the department needs to be looked at and sorted out as soon as posibble before it gets any worse, an assistant manager would be a great idea. Instead of having TL and SS running everything whilst jay is working or at college would be a lot easier.
And before you give it the "There is no one ready to be manager" when is someone ready to be a manager and how are you going to know if they are ready without giving them the chance to prove it, i can see 2 or 3 staff at the moment who do have the abbility to become assistnat manager, i mean i managed to become manager you obviously dont have to be that good :rolleyes:

Christmas time is a very busy period for the desk in terms of the amount of organisation and stuff they put into our Christmas Celebrations. Once this is out the way I'm sure the you will see a lot of changes in the Help Desk as Jaiisun is a very keen guy to get things moving. We always appreciate feedback, but please make sure its constructive. We are always eager to hear what you have to say.

i agree with most the people there, how half the last trialists past there trial i have no idea, probably because jay was never in hxhd to see them, not an attack at jay just the truth.
No offense sam, but under every single manager, every single year its the exact same problem.
People are in the desk until they get the job then become alot less active.
And the fact that the inative members 99% of the time get away with it doesn't help so it encourages other members "Oh i'm not gonna get fired so no point" if they had the attitude "If i don't go i'm going to get fired" atleast they'd show up getting it more popular, not to say that they'll help though.
We found out when i went on holiday also, if the manager dont go in, neither do the staff lol.

but she was on the ban list for ages, she used to get kicked almost constantly and now shes staff (coming from me this is lols but you get my point)
Yeah and not even just that some of the others attendance was awful. I don't want to single any one out, it's just evident things need to be closely examined but I fear this'll be ignored and nothing changed.
I've been in the helpdesk late at night but nobody comes lol.

When I was manager to me it always felt like we were an online 'family' as cheesy as it sounds. Everyone got along we did have the odd falling out but normally by the end of the week everyone was friends again this (from what i remember) continued when Scott took over when I left. Now however the odd occasion I decide to visit hardly anyone is there and most of those who are there seem to want to force rules down your throat alot of the time they may as well be saying 'no fun aloud'.
There are a odd few though who continue the 'not so old :P' way of going about things and keeping the friendly feel about the place (Such as the awesome John :D) . I'd like to see HxHD work with HxL more like they used to and hold a lot more events as I donated more than I can remember and that always got the people coming in =P
OH god, don't work with hxl :P
Anyone who goes in hxhd knows how i feel about HxL people so :P
