I need xbox live help

hi guys,
i dont know what is wrong i just got my xbox today and when i test xbox live connections it comes up with this:

IP Adress - Confirmed
DNS - Confirmed
MTU - Confirmed
ICMP - Confirmed
XBOXLIVE - FAILED

but before it says xboxlive failed and update comes up when i try do the update the update fails i realy need help and im an idiot so could you please explain as easy as possible

The servers will have crashed bro, don't worry about it. Happens every year.

so is xbox not wrking for anyone?

When i was upstairs earlier it wouldnt connect
i think it could be that people getting 360 for christmas and every1 connecting at the same time causing it to crash :(

I connected it fine, it'll be fine later.

Just have patience mate, try in a few hours.

Either your banned from Xbox Live (it can happen if your messing inside the xbox because they think your modding)

I been online most of day playing fifa and call of dutty went off at like 3 :)

he only got it today ;)

and he hasnt been on live ONCE as it wont connect so he cant be banned for tampering etc

Mines Abs Fine Uve Probally Have an Either Re-furbished Xbxo could happen depends where u gt it and in a result of this the xbxo has been ban from live



Xbox have a rep for giving people re-frubed consoles to be sold as NEW!

i think it means you have to have xbox live on your account like 3/6/12 month
