The PlayStation 2 accounted for 31.7% of console usage minutes, followed by the Xbox 360 in second with 17.2%, the Nintendo Wii in 3rd with 13.4%, 4th was the original Xbox with 9.7% with the PlayStation 3 in 5th with only 7.3%. The GameCube was 6th with 4.6%.
The remainder 16.2% was time split up between the PC, PSP, DS and Gameboy.

How do they figure this out? Buy all the 'online connected' consoles? Surly thats not fair as not all are connected to internet...

They couldn't work it out, not anywhere near exactly. They probably just did a survey of how long people reckon they play per week, on average.

It's actually true, to all those doubters. I don't have a source at hand but the PS2 has outsold every console every year since it's release. I don't know why, but it does.
Doesn't mean cause i buy a PS2 i'm gonna paly it for so many hours :P
