Take a picture of it :S
I've got a £5 coin from 1998.
They've been out for ages but you hardly see them, I don't know why...
Most people keep 'em as souvenirs. Nice Wikipedia article here...
You gonna keep it?
I have a 1999 one I think somewhere - for the millennium.
some estranged family member used to always give my dad one for his birthday... he was like... errr thanks
Lol, they look great.
I bought a £5 coin from the millenium dome for £10
Lol, You can still spend the old £5 coins i did the other day
I have a fat 5p coin bigger than a 2p lol
They were a one off for something I cant remember what but ye, they worth more than the value of the coin, you can sell them if they are in good nic for like £20.
It's out of circulation I think.
I had some five pound coins and something else a long time ago... it was commemorative to something the queen did... or something... so it'll be worth more in the future. It had a nice little box and everything.
I have about 10 downstairs
Never seen one of those before... Who remembers £1 notes though? I've got a collection of crisp brand new ones for collectors purposes :P
i think they came out for the queens golden jubilee as well did they not?
I've seen them before but they are rare.
I dunno if shops accept them or not.
The 5 pound coin is an endangered species, please keep it in circulation otherwise I fear it will be extinct
i got two £5 from millenium :)
Cost me a tenner for both :)
