Hai, im pretty sure this is the right section for this.
I'm wondering if there is any good video software which I can use to edit video clips that me and my mates will produce.
Free + not free welcome (maybe if you had a code, that would be good :p)

Sony Vegas is really good, professional too.

This is for everyone who has either not installed Vegas Pro yet or has attempted to install Vegas Pro without success. If you want this to work, make sure you follow instructions CAREFULLY.

- Uninstalled Sony Vegas Pro and/or Media Manager from computer.
- Deleted all "Sony Setup" and "Sony" program folders in the "Program Files" (Program Files x 86 for Vista 64-bit users) located in Drive C.
- Removed all Sony Creative registry keys, by clicking [Start > Run > type "regedit"] or [Start > Program Files > Accessories > Run > type "regedit"] Open folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software. Find "Sony Creative Software" folder and totally delete it. If folder isn't there click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software. Totally delete "Sony Creative Software".
****INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:****
1. Open Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 Folder.
2. Be sure that no programs are running.
3. Right click on "Keygen" and click Run As Administrator. Under products, choose Vegas Pro 8.0 (Build 179). Minimize Keygen, BUT DO NOT EXIT.
4. Return back to torrent folder. Right Click on the file "vegaspro80b_enu" and click Run as Administrator. Install the program. If you're installing the Media Downloader afterwards, remember to RUN AS ADMIN. After installation(s) is complete DO NOT OPEN Vegas Pro or Media Downloader yet.
5. Return back to Keygen. Click "Patch". Locate "C:/Program Files/Sony/Vegas Pro 8.0" and select the "Vegas Pro 8.0" folder, then click ok. The patch should be applied. If you get an error message then you didn't follow instructions (Did you run everything as Admin? Is there any crap left over from previous installation attempts?)
6. If successful, minimize Keygen, and locate "C: Program Files/Sony/Vegas Pro 8.0/vegas80.exe" (Scroll down to bottom of Vegas Pro folder to find vegas80) Right click file and click Run as Admin.
7. Once opened, enter serial number which can be copied from the Keygen. Do not close keygen yet! Select "Register from Another Computer". At some point it will ask you to save an HTML document. Save it wherever, it is not important.
8. When you come to register screen, fill out all neccessary info and click next to continue.
9. Enter activation code, which you will copy from the Keygen program still running. If you followed these instructions in ORDER, it will accept your code.
9. That's it! Hope this helped! Enjoy!

I use utorrent for downloads like these. But you may have the program already. I would go with the first link for trial. But the second should be free. :)
