Lol I got added by that too, it's probs someone on our MSN and just imported all the contacts, and it's [email protected]
Obv a scam.
If staff needed to chat to you, they would E-Mail you, most likely, But they never will use MSN though...
lmao how stupid do scammers think people are
the sad things is it must be a fried you have given your email address to trying to scam you..
Obviously fake, you can make an MSN adress for every email you want (if they do not have one already).
obvious scam
It's fake. They would e-mail you & Habbo Staff use AIM.
I did this scam way back and you'd be suprised how many ******s there are on Habbo.
Does it say (email address not verified) next to the name?
epic lol
and even more fool you if you added them because for all you know they could be rooting your box right now
You can only get those emails if you own the domain. in this case Habbo.co.uk . Unless someone hacked the system. Which is unlikely. Please check it again, because like I said. You can only get the webmail (the name for emails including the domain [email protected]. Domain would be likethis.co.uk) So it is impossible unless they have really added you. If none of this makes sense, please reply to this thread with explain simpler please or something but this should make sense.Quote:
Thanks
Oh really?
WHY?
All of that is true
Agreed with Kyle. I thought you said you was a computer support expert?

100Thrones works for Habbo? :o
I know who it is ;)
the email is classed as 'verified' hes not looking to scam you hes looking to show of :P
Ross
o.O is it verified though?
Who then ;)
just added me now lool.
Very well.....
Usually it doesn't work.
So maybe they changed it?
I tried it before with my domain. it said that it can't sign me in.
But it shouldn't create it without it being created by the domain owner
Lol ye its a scam, staff would email you OR if your lucky enough they will give you their IM names as they dont use MSN.
i bet its ross lol
There probably was an exploit in the past to allow you to verify emails,
Staff do not use @habbo.co.uk e-mails anyway, they use @sulake.com
lol never noticed this
I made the account to see if I could bypass the verification system, which I did. It's not an exploit. It's not old. Of course, I don't own the domain "habbo.co.uk" or that email address, which I would need to if I were to verify it for MSN.
No, I'm not using it for scamming - I don't scam. I did, however, import some old MSN contact list I had to double check if it was verified. :P
Danke.
Tom, wanna make me a @google account :eusa_whis
I got that too.
This has now been patched, I made sure of it. I've no use for the fake emails and I don't want loads of noobs running around with these fake emails, so I reported it and they dealt with it.
