I think this season is one of the best its so close at the top and at the bottom it's just too tense for so many teams
No - I think it's ridiculous the amount of managers being fired.
The thing is because a few more teams are starting to grow the bottom teams are really fighting, thus their managers getting fired. I don't think it's their fault, it's just competition.
Adams and Scolari were rightly sacked.
The worst sacking had to be steve bruce last season but thats because im a blues fan and he didnt get sacked he left because carson yeug was going to takeover and sac him then carson didnt even buy =/
Can southgate be on that list please?
It's a big gamble but chairmen can't risk getting relegated and losing so much revenue.
My thoughts on possible managers getting sacked between now and end of season in the Premiership:
Southgate (if he doesn't win in any of next 2/3 games)
Hughes (depending where City place at end of season and how dedicated Abu Dhabi are of keeping him)
Arsene Wenger (if Arsenal don't qualify for Champions league because of Villa)
Megson (if Bolton are relegated)
Yeah some of the managers deserve it.
I think one of the worst in recent times is the sacking of Sven from Man City.
Funny how City and Chelsea have both gone downhill after sacking Mourinho and Sven.
Ah well, it's the way it is - if you don't get success you'll be out the door in todays game. Funny that Fergie and Wenger are the most successful managers in the league and surprise surprise those two have been at their teams for the longest.
Sometimes it isnt the managers fault but they get the blame for the players mistakes and mindset.
But it was (as many people argued) Mourinho's team.
Also funny how City and Chelsea are both really rich clubs?
:o City, Chelsea and Real Madrid have all been getting quite a few managers recently, and if I'm not mistaken, theres quite a big thing that makes all three teams common? There all rich and keen for success, but non of them have really done too well recently, and they have all had a new manager this season so far. :P
Show money can't buy success I guess?
It was before they took over. But before then we were still quite rich. Our owner then had £1billion and had the project of making our club a champions league team in 10 years. The arabs just had much more money and a bigger ambition to reach the champions league sooner rather than later.
