Sites like www.btjunkie.org and www.thepiratebay.org have little symbols that show certain torrents have been rated as trusted by people. I'd suggest taking heed of those symbols because ones without them have a pretty high risk of viruses :)
Limewire handles torrents -.-
I use Bit TOrrent but it seems like uTorrent is th best so i may switch,lol

www.torrentfly.org is also quite good for searching for torrents, it searches multiple sites.
