Hey,
Just wondering... how long do you have to go without getting a warning or infraction for you to be considered to have a "clean record"?
Thanks

Until it expires, I guess.
But I suppose 1 or 2 warnings/infractions wont be seriously frowned upon.
Building upon Paul's reply, it also depends on what type of infraction they are. As some are obviously more serious than others.
^ What he said. Its not really a quantative number, its more the impression your record gives of you.
So like 10 infractions for insulting other members is KK?! :D
Yeah that's true. The other thing to bear in mind is if your usernotes show you broke a rule in the past and you haven't broken it since, it shows you've taken notice of the warning and may even count more towards you than having no warnings at all.
Trust me, it made me cry to click that delete button on your app. Had to get a new keyboard cos of the water damage.
********, you were probably just drooling at the opportunity of rejecting me... Maybe next time if I'm still on HxF yeah, I mean I counted 8 infractions for insulting people but it's missing the old ones I've had... which I think it'd go up to 15.
I'd only be a good MOD because I wouldn't put up with **** and have this whole thing about representing Habbox. It's a freakin MOD job, respect me or gth out.
Lols, an ideal person should act nice all the time :P Most people seem to think they can act like an arse and expect hx to think they'll act nicer if they get a mod job, but its like going "yeah, I'm beating up this granny now but if you gimme a job as a policeman I'll stop, honest"
If there's anything I learned from my experience here, it was that you can't deal with everyone in exactly the same way - you can't treat everything with infractions.
Sometimes, people's longer-term problems on the forums are better treated with a PM conversation, and newer users will always respond unfavourably to warnings/infractions, so a quick message to remind them of the rules may help.
That's sort of the point of the trial - to learn the lessons, and become a helpful member of staff, rather than another faceless robot. People forget it's about helping discussions along, not preventing them.
Think my chances are out the window seeing as I got perm banned on the acc that I applied on .
I'm curious, and have no interest in applying, but do recommendations ever get considered, and if so, is it only staff that can recommend?
Yeah current mods can reccomend a user to be a moderator.
There's nothing to stop you (or anyone else) dropping the FM a PM to recommend someone if you want to :)
It was used fairly regularly while I was there and probably will be for a while, its a pretty useful tool because the FM doesn't have as much time as he'd like to float around the forums seeing who'd be good for what
you have to be able to present yourself well, the application process just differentiates those who can write and those who quite simply can not.
Some people just don't get considered anymore...
*CRY*
I miss the mod team =[
