It's download speed, not upload.
And thats £120 a year. Credit crunch is on dontcha know.
Im thinking about getting it as well im probably going to this weekend so i'd defo recommend it cause it's sexy.
It is not 30meg upload. It is 1.5meg
No it isn't, not if he is on Virgin Media 50mb.
Can't believe I have to get proof here but
http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/50Mb/faq.html#_4Quote:
In a nutshell, you'll get a download speed of up to 50Mb, with an upload speed of up to 1.5Mb
And we all know Speedtest can make mistakes !!!
Yes, it can do.
Like when we moved to BT speedtest.net was reporting like 20 meg download and 10 meg upload for a day or so which is impossible on a standard broadband line like ours..
LOL one pound per meg.. no thanks.
I wouldn't. 20meg should be fine, I live with 2. you'll live :)
I have 2 =[ I'd rather have 10 though.
it's free, actually. and it's upto 8meg but max i can get is 2. gutted.
im meant to have 8mb internet for £17.50 (o2) and atm all I get is less than 1mb
Even if you dont get your 30mb upload which probably was just speedtest erroring. Come on.. 50mb download is frigging amazing depending on the type of person for someone who games alot and does alot of movie/tv/music downloading it's a great connection and cant wait to get mine
Probably the Sky Bundle pack thing... (Just guessing)
Ive got 10mb for £10.
Great speeds though
not sure what mine is due to the fact of tiscali being arses..
i should get : 8mb
i only get a little less then 4mb..
Don't bother - as others have said, it's not needed unless you're doing a lot of downloads of huge files.
Desperate to spend a tenner? Buy a new mouse or something.
Thats good really. Remember it's 'up to', and your internal wiring and exchange distance/condition can greatly affect it. I wouldn't be moaning with 4mb of 8 tbh
