New York 2.0 (number 2) Revised

So, I fixed the things people told me to about my New York room, and it came out better than expected. Thanks for the advice !!

I made the building taller, took down the sloppy towers, made it more city like, and made it a bit less slopy

With roads, new buildings, etc.

Also, before criticising the trophies in central park, theyre callie trophies I put there as monuments , imagine them not being there if you don't approve.

Please be mature and dont start arguments.

And if your name is visa, youre going to say " I dont like the buildings they look too much like wood and not like buildings, so the room is ugly and stiill looks messy"

So save your fingers, I typed it out for you! (since you told me in game)

i think the whole 'new york' concept would work better if you tried to make it look more like a city and less like a tiny community built around one giant building. maybe change the name of the room to 'empire state building' or something. the area looks weird for new york, too. you should use mode bookshelves. i agree with previous posters ... use pura lamps. the starter lamps look weird as streetlights.

also, the one blue corner in the building looks really out of place. i think you should stack the trophy lower so that only the 'habbo' bit pokes out. use skyscraper windows with a skyline scene to create an edgier background maybe?

it's an interesting room. i think you should think of all the points people are making to turn it in to something more eye catching and impressive.

I think im gonna stick with area, mainly because most new york buildings are stone and window, and mode is a bit shiny and futuristic. I'm looking to buy pura lamps, although I do think the starter lamps are more to scale. I just wish people didnt view them as nooby or tacky, cause I think they look cool :8

Also, I struggled with whether or not I should leave a bit of black space above the habbo trophy. I thought I kept all of it (the entire trophy is visible) but it does look a bit overwhelming with that little space between it and the habbo "roof"

However, I dont reallly like the landskape windows when dealing with tall things, because I think it takes away from the structure, but you're in luck cause I have some spare, so Ill see how it looks and get back to ya

EDIT: I just looked at all your rooms and you must be even more delusional than I thought you were lol. I didnt copy any of your rooms, and there are no rooms that are remotely alike enough to make any sane minded person think that. All I did was make my building taller, make the towers into individual buildings and lay down road.

I literally only fixed what people told me to do in the previous post. Unless one of your rooms out of some coincidence has everything that those people happened to advise me to fix, I did not copy your room.

P.S. If you want me to pick through all of your rooms and pick out things I originated in room designs, that could be arranged. I've been doing this longer. Also, if you're talking about "copying you" by putting streets with lights in to make it look like a city, that's hardly groundbreaking, and certainly didnt originate with you. And since that's literally the only new addition I made to the room, you should really check your ego.

DOUBLE EDIT: If youre talking about the big ben room, its common knowledge that that room makes the largest buildings. You told me to make the building more tall and less fat, I did it. You are not the first one to use a square room layout. If that's what you're talking about, please get a time machine and travel back to 2005, then tell me you originated it. Miyukosakira had like 5 rooms alone where he/she used that layout to make the tallest structures possible, including a gigantic christmas tree.

If you think you're some amazing innovator in design for using a square room, you're a legend in your own mind. And that's pretty much the only similarity I see between the rooms.. so yeah.. CHECK YOSELF

First of all I see no resemblance whatsoever between billyk's room and Tonyx-'s room... Sure you both used the same room layout. Who cares? In all honestly, you's both aren't the only ones who use that room. So get over it.

Tony, I highly doubt billyk is "a wannabe" as he's an amazing room designer just like you and others on Habbo. So that accusation is totally wrong.

As for the room, Billy, I like it better then the previous one.
The lamps do look a little off, but I see what you mean when you say "there in scale" with the room. Very nice, can't wait to see other's you make :)

cool, an unbiased, SANE human being (finally). For a bit I thought I was going crazy. We both created different, unique rooms anthony, stop making this about you. They're both good in their separate ways! When I looked at your room this morning for the first time since I saw it since the summer, I liked it. Did I copy it? No, I didn't even remember / know who made it. Saying yours is better than mine is silly saying you're a better designer than me is silly. I honestly don't think im better than anyone at room designing.

However, and I will bold this to show why I have made such winded responses towards the ignorance directed my way:
I do not think I am worse than anyone. I do not think anyone is worse than anyone at practicing a form of expression/creation, which is why it infuriates me to see people call people's rooms bad, or to see people say their rooms are better than other people's. Keep in mind that these are people's creations, and leave your ego out.

im not wrong im 100% right, its a game and you write essays like "The world is absurd finally a totally sane person i was begining to lose my little patience left for this cruel cruel planet alas!" and its like what the actual hell, if only we were as cool as billyk having to try and embarress me on hxf haha shame it didn't work isn't it.. of course i put all that on because i know you were posting it on here! didn't know you would edit it about though haha! nice to see you moved all your parts of the convo when you were being serious out of it! wow! you can't handle me.

First off, I don't think that's English, but I think I get what you're trying to say.

Apparently you like attention ( I couldn't tell before :rolleyes: ). You still don't get it. I'm not desperate for other people to see it, if I was, I would keep posting it. I wanted you to see how ridiculous you look to other people, which apparently didn't work because you're stubborn and delusional.
