HxHD Easter Layout

It's just been finished after lots of planning (and bickering :rolleyes:) by me and Sammeth. :P

What do you all think?

Anyway it looks quite nice although i think the bit in the middle looks really random, but if it wasnt there it would look empty so yh.

and HC plasto looks more Easter-y by far, the room as a whole looks like some ski resort kid's room rather than an Easter themed help desk

Looks lovely :D I just wish you'd get rid of the stickies, ruin every room to me! I don't think their needed you can have staff groups and ban list in your staff forum. Rooms looks good if the stickies didn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Looks lush imo :P

The stickys above the door are a bit pointless, nothings been written on them. But we need the others so not only can we distinguish whos staff but also visitors can, and its a pain always looking in the thread :)

I don't think visitors necessarily care who is and who isn't staff though. I never hear people telling other to look at the stickies etc. I just think they're incredibly ugly. If people need help then they will just ask who is behind the desk.

Yeah I remember that in 8freak8's old Easter HxHD where you could sit in bunnies. Actually I'm pretty sure that's still the layout if you search 8freak8 and see it :D

He means its the same kind of thing in terms of being able to sit on the bunnies :8 Obv it's a different layout. If you search 8freak8 the Easter Layout is still up.

Bunnies are white, Bunnies = Easter. You wouldn't know if Tom was being serious or not so why say that :S Its been a common conversation topic in our recent joint msn convos which you haven't been a part of so you wouldn't know what was meant by it, infact he kept suggesting it to me and sam and we decided to used pods instead :$

I'm not saying don't have bunnies... but quite frankly the whole bloody room is white!

I have to say i personally dont like it myself, to bland. I prefer the old use of petals/bunnys/plasto like in 8f8`s room. Bring room more to life. However well done to sam and leah for making it. Cant wait to try this quest.

My first thought was that it looked very cheap.
Also the hot-tub is completely random. But as someone said, the room would look empty without it.
Plus, the room lacks colour. Easter should be bright, and in your face. Yellows, reds etc.. The rooms mainly white and light blue. Just doesnt seem bright enough for easter.

My opinion doesn't count. Im too 'picky' when it comes to making rooms, as Jake well knows.

Why are you making it seem like I wasn't being serious? I quite clearly was, even in the MSN conversations which you've shrugged off as playing about. I think the fact that I posted it here and then backed it up with a reason is good enough to show that I was being serious about it, so please don't attempt to belittle my opinion by calling it a joke when you know full well that it isn't.

We have used plasto :S pods are under the plasto section. Good luck with the quest, especially as you're banned and the entrance will be in HxHD ;)

I wouldn't say that red reminds me of easter tbh, Green, blue, yellow and pink would be easter colours. We have used blue to tie in with the quest ;)

Okay. But out of all the colours you listed... You only used blue, if you ignore the baskets of eggs. Why not have brighter coloured pods. Just to make the room a bit more colourful.

I never claimed to be, dunno where you're getting that from. Regardless of anyone's status anywhere though, it's entirely unprofessional to just say "oh he wasn't being serious" about a suggestion, especially when you know it isn't the case

The chairs are just copying laurences HxHD easter layout

and hot tub with the tiles looks well out of place and just rubbish really :P

:dj-small: said that "old layouts had hc plasto" then directly below that comment he then included a print screen of a old hxhd layout, forgive me for thinking he may have possibly meant the one he posted.
