its £440 payg and contracts starts from £25 per month + £190 for the phone (1 off fee)

There isn't much difference than the iPhone 3G and you can get 32gb model free if you take out a £70+ p/m contract for 24 months. Otherwise, cheapest you can pay is £30 p/m and £100 one of fee for a 8gb model.
It's really expensive.. cheapest payd is £342 for an 8gb, 16gb is £440 and 32gb is £538
When you go on contract you always get the phone free, that's crap :(. Apparently iPhone 3G dropped to £40 (comparing to $ price drops in America)Quote:

The price is ridiculous. AT&T in America have halved the price of the 3G iPhone and slotted the 3GS in at the 3G's old price point.
Nope, O2 have to just keep the 3G where it is and up the price for the 3GS, RIDICULOUS.
