When I saw this topic my legs went numb and I thought you was going to say Battlefield 1943 Is out awhhhh 7 days to go.
But I remember the old games, flying on planes, jeeps, amazing cant wait :D
I love BattleField games so yeah, nothing better than exploring a whole map to find various vehicles and sniper spots to **** the other team up.
Was going to make this thread myself it looks a brilliant game and I still can't believe it's only 500mb :P
There's been confusion with the release dates for ages but it should be 8th or 9th of July. The developers have said it'll be released on XBL and PSN on the 9th of July (Thursday) however it's likely on XBL it'll be brought forward to the 8th of July as that's the only day which XBL releases arcade games (Wednesday).

I will download this, it looks like a pimped out version of Warhawk. This will be epic.
Achievements have been released, they'll presumably be the trophies too. Looking very easy:

They look really easy yeah, the flag ones will be time consuming though, because it's not like you're guranteed a flag every match :P
Graphics look too ps1 but its gameplay looks good. I wont buy it though :)

Can't get in any games and same for all my friends as well. As per usual EA are thoroughly unprepared with their servers, they never learn from their mistakes.
Extremely disappointed, got in one game briefly and it was good but it's utter crap atm.

I've managed to get into a few games, although I hear some people are still having trouble. The gameplay is very similar to Battlefield: Bad company, which can be a good or bad thing, depends what you thought of it.

The snipers are so underpowered, it's 2 hit kill to the neck and below. Headshot is the only way your getting 1 hit kills.
It takes so long for a bullet to get put into the chamber also.

I've played CoD1 on Steam and I have CoD2 on 360.
I liked CoD2 and CoD1 but CoD:WaW is so fail.
It's not that bad, the graphics are awesome and the story is always a high point by Treyarch, the multiplayer was a let down since it was pretty much a carbon copy of MW so it didn't really hold my attention but the campaign is always the best part of CoD games anyway.Quote:
