Well I was on it and well it suddenly just turnt off and wouldn't come back on I noticed it was hot so took the back off and out it by the fan to cool down and when I try putting it on the lights turn on but nothing on the screen

Is it charged up properly.
Have you put everything back properly?
If it was hot a connection error between the monitor and the motherboard may have occurred. If the problem does not fix itself (Theres every chance it may do) take it to your local tech store.
Take out your battery and let it cool down.
You shouldn't keep the battery in constantly, it gets it really hot and damages it. So a few times a week or something just use your laptop via the charger and give the battery a rest. :P
In all my years of using computers and laptops I have never heard this or carried it out, if the battery is getting hot on a laptop then you need to get that checked out by the manufacturer ASAP :/Quote:

If he's using the laptop for say 5 hours a day, it'll overheat and heat the battery up, where my uncle uses his laptop on a desk, he doesn't keep the battery in because it'll heat up if that makes sense, but the reason his laptop probably won't turn on is because he's blown the battery because his laptop kept getting too hot.

He's overheated the laptop and blown the battery ;) I bet if he takes the battery out and tries to turn it on while the charger is plugged in it'll work :rolleyes:
Plus, where did I say his charger was making the laptop hot? It's vise versa.

The battery is designed to be kept in the laptop 24/7, no matter what you say. You may take the battery out to preserve it's life, but this wouldn't stop it from turning on if the charger was plugged in.
Generally the battery is kept in a totally separate compartment on the laptop and is also designed to withstand high temperatures.
And in that post, you have now proved that you don't know what you are talking about at least three times.

Skip to around 1:10, apparently your laptops have done this from over heating? Wow you must get some crap up batteries from somewhere with no quality control.
I don't think that 98% of laptop users take their laptop batteries out all the time when they are using them on desks, I rarely take mine out, and when I do I put mine back in before powering the laptop back on, never had any problems, don't know anyone who has.
You just admitted they were designed for the use, what good is a largish battery that you have to take out whenever you want to use it? Sense much?
Vaio provided it, and it blew, so as I was suggesting is the same thing could have happened with him if the lights came on then the screen didn't, so you didn't need to try claw my back, I was giving a possible solution that could get his laptop back on. Didn't see you give him any advice though, only to try prove me wrong. o_O
Oh hey my mum's laptop has been on for over 2 days constantly and doesn't explode, disintegrate, obliterate, conjugate, lemonade, warp, overheat, shut down, stop giving power, give too much power, give just a little less than is needed power or no power at all.Quote:

I didn't say that was the reason his laptop doesn't come on, I said it's a possibility the battery could have blown, because it happened to my brother in law. So get your head out of your arse, you think you know it all.
Tryred like taking the battery out, but nout happens it just smells realy weird and every so often the fans would come on but go off, so going to find a tech shop, which i hate as it's got like personal stuff on ect
Hatchet you are speaking so much rubbish, the battery is designed to be in there for a lonnnngggg time, you're not supposed to be taking out and in willy nilly.
