But if you want good horror, you're honestly not going to find it in the cinema. The best flicks are on DVD - films of the past - the last genuinely great horror film that I saw that was released theatrically was SAW, and that was 2004.

That Antichrist sounds bloody freaky.. don't even want to watch that. Willem Dafoe is a nutter aswell, last film I seen him in was Speed 2 and he wasn't sane in that.

I agree with Misawa, horror films now are much more style over substance than their counterparts from the 70s and 80s. That's why they're constantly remaking those films instead of actually coming up with new ones.Quote:

2 of the scariest films I've seen are Mirrors and Haunting in Connecticut.
Haunting in Connecticut I thought wasn't that good. I haven't seen Mirrors yet. :P
