A first 99 skill

Yeah im level 118 and I don't have a 99 yet, that's quite bad yeahh.

I would like an easy one to do and I have 6.5m to spend. Any recommendations for me?

cooking firemaking or thieving

Cooking / fletching is probs easiest

firemaking is long and boring
thieving is boring

cooking/fletching you can semi afk aswell as you only need to look on screen every so often to cut x or cook x with banking etc ;P

DON'T get 99 cooking or fletching, they are the 2 "noobiest" 99's/capes on rs. You'd be far better off spending an extra couple of weeks on getting 99 wc/99 fishing and actually make some money.

Mint; more people have 99 str than have 99 cook/fletch so surely thats "nooby" aswell? lmao.

Regardless; 99 in anything is an achievement and i'd much rather 99 fletch/cook in a week than few months on wc/fish lol

I never said anything about the amount of people that have 99 cook/fletch? :S You are right in saying that more people have 99 stre but that doesn't make it nooby? What makes 99 cooking and 99 fletching so nooby is that it's so quick, easy and cheap to get. So many new players choose them as their first 99's for all the reasons that I have just said.

if you want a quick one, do fletching or cooking, who cares if its noobie? he wants a 99, he didn't ask which were noobie or not. if you want a longer one, you could do agility.. or a combat. idk. upto you.

I see the word easy there... so i'm hardly going to suggest something thats more difficult and requires a vast more am ount of time than an easy stat...

Yeh he is asking for an easy skill but I'm just advising him to spend that little extra time on getting a more superior 99. Not only will he have a better cape and get more respect for it but he will also be making money as opposed to losing it.

I only want an easier one for now, sorry. Maybe when I have this "easy one" I will consider going for a harder achievement.

Out of those that were mentioned which of them would be around 6.5m or less to get 99.

Get cooking or fletching - fletching is probably better for money than cooking as you can make off it later with alching. Cooking is easier, cheaper and probably fastest, though. Theyre both below 6.5 mil to get, too.

72-81 Lobsters (10,688 lobsters)
81-90 Swordfish (22,526 swordfish)
90-94 Monkfish (17,322 monkfish)
94-99 Sharks (24,238 sharks)

Lobster atm mid price you lose 82 per
10,688 x 82 = 876,416 GP loss

Swordfish atm mid price you lose 73 per
22,526 x 73 = 1,644,398 GP loss

Monkfish atm mid price you lose 58 per
17,322 x 58 = 1,004,676 GP loss

Shark atm mid price you lose 97 per
24,238 x 97 = 2,351,086 GP loss

Total of 5,876,576 GP loss or 5.87m

With fletching you don't lose any money im pretty sure, so yeah.
